Located within
Washington County Maryland, 6,400 acre Indian Springs WMA is home to
Blair's Valley Lake which serves as a popular fishing spot. Once serving
as a Civil War signal post (Fairview Mountain), Indian Springs Wildlife
Management Area now host Field Trials 6 times a year. In addition to the
scheduled events and historic sites, Indian Springs WMA also offers the
opportunity for hiking and hunting.
To reach Indian Springs Wildlife Management Area from I-70, exit Clear
Spring exit and travel north along Route 68, crossing Old Route 40 and
bear left onto Mill Street.
