Located within
Greenbrier State Park the 0.6 mile Bartman Hill Trail is rated as
"Difficult" and was built by the Maryland Conservation Corps and the Potomac
Appalachian Trail Club in 2003. The Bartman Hill Trail provides access to
the Appalachian Trail from the Greenbrier State Park visitors center.
Directions:
To reach Greenbrier State Park from the East, travel west on I70 to exit
42, bear right onto Rt. 17 north. Go into the center of Myersville and Rt.
17 will turn right. Follow Rt. 17 to the flashing lights at the intersection
of Rt. 40. Turn left onto Rt. 40 west. Follow for three miles and the park
is on the left
