features, facilities, and recreational opportunities including an 80'
waterfall, 40+ miles of
trails, hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping (including
equestrian camping), and fishing.
To reach South Mountains State Park from I-40, turn south onto NC 18
and travel 9 miles to NC 1913 (Sugarloaf Road) and turn right.
