VA 650-Appalachian Trail

Located within Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, the 2 mile section of the VA Highlands Trail which travels from VA 650 to the AT is available for hiking, and horseback riding. This section of the Virginia Highlands Trail is marked with an orange diamond blaze and is rated strenuous as it is narrow and steep.

Mount Rogers National Recreation Area is located within Grayson, Washington, Wythe and Smyth County Virginia.
