| Located within
Crawford Notch State Park, Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail travels 8.5 miles to
the summit of Mt. Washington. Connecting the Cog Railway Base Station with
Lakes of the Clouds hut (6.25 miles), which is located at the top of the
ridge between Mt. Washington and Mt. Monroe, Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail offers
an easy hike along it's lower half, while the upper have (above Gem Pool) is
rather steep.
To reach Crawford Notch State Park from I-95, take Route 16 north to
Route 302 west. Continue along Route 302, following signs to Crawford
Notch State Park. |
