Located within
Cattaraugus County New York, the 65,000 acre Allegany State Park is
divided into 2 developed areas, Red House and Quaker. The largest state
park in New York, both sections of Allegany State Park offer sand
beaches, museums, hiking, naturalist walks, and picnic areas.
Snowmobiling, cross country skiing, biking, camping, fishing,
hunting canoeing, and horseback riding are just a few of the many
outdoor recreational opportunities available within Allegany State
Park. |

The northern half of Allegany State Park, Red House include attractions
such as Stone Tower, Summit Fire Tower, Red House Lake, Art Roscoe Ski
Area, Bridal Falls, 5 miles of paved bike trails and 130 campsites.
The Quaker area, the southern section of Allegany State Park offers
attractions including Mount Tuscarora Fire Tower, Quaker Lake, Science
Lake, Bear Caves, Thunder Rocks, the Quaker Amphitheater, Cain Hollow
Campground and hiking trails.
