Stanly County North Carolina Hiking Trails

Laurel Trail
Located within Morrow Mountain State Park, the 0.6 mile Laurel Trail is rated easy and is marked with red hexagons. Forming a loop around the Morrow Mountain camping area, Laurel Trail begins/ends at the end of the camp office parking lot. Providing the primary access to Morrow Mountain Trail, Laurel Trail offers several creeks and is a popular trail for children.

Morrow Mountain State Park is located 6 miles east of Albemarle, and may be accessed from NC 24/27, 73 and 740.
