Stanly County North Carolina Hiking Trails

Rocks Trail
Located within Morrow Mountain State Park, the 1.25 mile Rocks Trail travels along the hills of the Uwharrie woods to a massive rock outcropping at the lakeshore. Offering views of Tillery, Rocks Trail is considered the most scenic trail within the park. Rated easy, Rocks Trail is marked with blue square blazes.

Morrow Mountain State Park is located 6 miles east of Albemarle, and may be accessed from NC 24/27, 73 and 740.
