Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge

Located 4 miles east of Dover Tennessee,
Cross Creek National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1962 with the
primary purpose of providing feeding and resting habitats for migratory
birds. Situated along the Lake Barkley impoundment of the Cumberland
River, Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge covers 8,862 acres.
Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge is located within
Stewart County Tennessee, and may be reached by traveling 2.5
miles from Dover along Highway 49 to Wildlife Road. Follow Wildlife
Road for 1 mile. |
