The 50 foot Opossum Creek Falls is
reached at the end of a 2.0 mile hike along the Opossum Creek Falls
Trail.
The journey to the Falls is rated difficult, with travel time
estimated at 2 hours each way.
To reach Opossum Creek Falls from Westminster South Carolina
travel west 13.3 miles on US76 to Damascus Church Road (County
S-96). Turn left onto Damascus Church Road and continue 0.9 miles,
turn right onto Battle Creek Road (County S-102) and travel 1.9
miles to Turkey Ridge Road (FS 755). Turn left onto Turkey Ridge
Road and travel 2.3 miles to FS 755A on the left. Park and walk up
FS 755 to the trail on the right. |
