Allatoona Pass Trail

Located within Red Top Mountain State Park, the 2.5 mile Allatoona Pass Trail follows the bed of the Western & Atlantic Railroad and the old Tennessee Wagon Road. Traveling past 2 earth forts, trenches and outworks which were dug by Union troops during the Civil War, Allatoona Pass Trail also travels through the 360' Allatoona Pass, which is 180' deep through solid rock.

Red Top Mountain State Park is located 1.5 miles east of I-75 exit 285 near Cartersville Georgia.
