Morganton Point Recreation Area

| Located within the Blue Ridge Ranger
District of the Chattahoochee National Forest within Fannin
County Georgia, Morganton Point Recreation Area offers facilities
and recreational opportunities including camping, fishing, picnicking, a
paved boat ramp, group camping, and swimming.
In addition to it's camping area, Morganton Point Recreation Area
features a day use area for picnicking which include 8 picnic sites
and one picnic shelter. A swimming area with a bath house is also
available.

To reach Morganton Point Recreation Area from
Blue Ridge Georgia, travel north along US 515 for 4 miles to GA 60
and turn right. Continue along GA 60 for 2 miles to Morganton Georgia
and turn right onto County Road 616. Travel 1 mile along CR 616 to the
recreation area.
