Located between Chatsworth and Ellijay in Murray County Georgia, the 3,712 acre Fort Mountain State Park is home to an 885' long rock wall which is thought to have been built by Native Americans. In addition to a 17 acre lake with swimming beach, Fort Mountain State Park offers camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, boat rentals, canoe & pedal boat rentals, and cottage rentals.

Fort Mountain State Park is located 8 miles east of Chatsworth along GA 52.
