Lake Dardanelle State Park
|
Located within Pope and Yell Counties, the 34,300 acre Lake
Dardanelle is surrounded by the Arkansas River Valley. Lake
Dardanelle State Park features two areas along the lake, with
the main park being located at Russellville Arkansas (Pope
County) while the other is located at Dardanelle Arkansas (Yell
County). Camping is available at both locations, as are
launch ramps, picnic sites, pavilions, restrooms and bathhouses
with hot showers.
The main park at Russellville also offers a 10,527
square-foot visitor center along the lake's shore, a 1,861
square-foot fishing tournament weigh-in pavilion, a covered
fishing pier, and a
trail. Kayak and bicycle rentals are also
available.
To reach the main park in Russellville Arkansas, from I 40
take Exit 81 at Russellville and travel south along Highway 7
and turn right onto Highway 326. Continue along Hwy. 326 for 4
miles to the park, or from I 40 west take exit 78 to U.S. 64 and
turn left. Staying in the right lane, continue along US 64 to
Hwy. 326 and turn right. Follow Hwy 326 to the park.

To reach the Dardanelle Arkansas section of Lake Dardanelle
State Park from the town of Dardanelle, travel west along
Highway 22 for 305 miles and turn right into the park.
