Cleburne County Arkansas Hiking Trails

Overlook Trail

Located within Big Creek Natural Area, the 1.75 mile Overlook Trail begins and end at the parking lot. Traveling to a high bluff which overlooks a long pool and a series of rapids on Big Creek, Overlook Trail offers views of several waterfalls.

To reach Big Creek Natural Area, take AR 110 east of Heber Springs to Wilburn. From Wilburn, travel east along Tylar Road for 0.9 miles and turn right onto Center Chapel Road (gravel). Continue along Center Chapel Road for 1.4 miles. At the stop sign, go straight onto Heritage Trail Road and follow signs.
