Ammons Branch Campground, Macon County North Carolina Campgrounds

Located within the Highlands Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest, Ammons Branch Campground offers primitive camping and is open all year.

Ammons Branch offers bathrooms (no water) and hiking.

To reach Ammons Branch from Highlands North Carolina travel 4.5 miles east along Main Street (leaving town) through Horse Cove. When pavement ends bear right onto Bull Pen Road and continue 1.5 miles.
