The gentle trails of San Luis State Park wildlife area offers the opportunity for easy snowshoeing.

To reach San Luis State Park travel 60 miles west along 160 from Walsenburg Colorado to Highway 159. Continue north along Hwy 150 for 13.5 miles and turn left on Six Mile Lane. Continue along Six Mile Lane for 8.0 miles and then drive north 1/8 mile to the San Luis State Park entrance.
