To access Bushnell Lakes Trail
travel 20 miles east of Salida along US 50 and turn just west of Coaldale
Colorado at the sign for Hayden Creek Campground. The Rainbow Trail access
is on the north side of the road before reaching the campground area. The
Bushnell Trail junction is located about 2.5 miles from this road junction
and is not marked with a sign on the Rainbow Trail, however an obvious trail
is visible to the southwest.
