Located in the Clear Creek Area of the Leadville Ranger District, the
5.2 mile Mt. Oxford Trail offers a gain of 5,300'.
Follow the Missouri Gulch for 2 miles, then follow the northwest ridge
to the right (southwest) of the prominent couloir.
From Mt. Belford's summit, Mt. Oxford is 1 mile to the northeast, via a
climber's trail, with a 700' loss of elevation. |
