White River National Forest
The largest & most popular campground in the Eagle Ranger
District, the 35 site Deep Lake Campground features picnic tables, fire
ring grills, 3 vault toilets, and level gravel driveways which can
normally accommodate RVs under 35'. Twelve sites are partially shaded, 23
are in the open, 5 sites are lakeside and several sites have larger
parking areas with 2 picnic tables and 2 fire rings to accommodate larger
groups. To reach Deep Lake Campground from
Eagle Colorado, travel west along I-70 for 13 miles to the Dotsero exit.
Follow signs for Sweetwater/Burns, turning north onto Colorado River Road.
Continue along Colorado River Road for 1.8 miles and turn left onto Coffee
Pot Road (FR 600). Travel along FR 600 for 29 miles to the campground on the
right.
