Gates of Lodore Nature Trail

Located within Dinosaur
National Monument, the 0.75 mile (each way) Gates of Lodore Nature Trail
is rated Easy and begins at the Gates of Lodore Campground, 137 miles from
the Temporary Visitor Center and 101 miles from the Canyon Area Visitor
Center.
Gates of Lodore Nature Trail travels above the Green River and offers
views of the entrance of Lodore Canyon. Lodore Canyon is impassable on foot.
To reach Dinosaur National Monument's Temporary Visitor Center from
Dinosaur Colorado travel west along Highway 40 to Jensen Utah and turn right
(north) onto Utah 149 and follow signs. |

Monument's Canyon Area Visitor Center from Dinosaur Colorado travel east
along Highway 40 for 2.0 miles to Harpers Corner Road. Turn left (north)
onto Harpers Corner Road and take the first right into the parking lot. |
