Located within the Clear Creek Ranger District, the 2 mile Maxwell Falls Trail is one of the easiest trails in the district. Maxwell Falls Trails follows Maxwell Creek to Maxwell Falls.

To reach Maxell Falls Trail travel along Highway 73 south of Evergreen to Brook Forest Road. Travel 3 miles to Brook Forest Road. To access the upper trailhead, continue to Black Mountain Road, turn left and travel another 1.25 miles.
