River National Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 11 mile Marvine Trail travels south out of the parking lot, entering
the wilderness after about 0.5 miles. Following Marvine Crek through a
narrow valley for 0.5 mile before traveling on to Slide Lake, 4 miles
above the trailhead. Lower Marvine Lake is reached 6 miles form the
trailhead. Undeveloped campsites are available along both lakes.
