River National Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 25.6 mile Oyster Lake Trail crosses private property during the first
4 miles, Bailey Lake is reached 1 mile after reaching the National Forest,
followed by Swede Lake. For the next 2 miles you climb onto Nimerick point
on the westernmost part of Flat Tops plateau. The trail turns south
following the rim above the South Fork of White River before turning east
near Clam Lake. Dense timber begins to give way to larger parks as the
trail travels the 4 miles to Oyster Lake. |
