Available for hiking & horseback riding, the popular, 6.6 mile Three Mile
Creek Trail provides access into the heart of the southern half of the Mt. Evens
Wilderness. The first part of Three Mile Creek Trail follows Threemile Creek in
a northeasterly direction and offers several stream crossings. East of Spearhead
Mountain the trail begins to rise steeply away from the creek in a series of
switchbacks.

At the top of the switchbacks, Three Mile Creek Trail begins heading north
until it descends to met Rosalie Trail. Three Mile Creek Trail is rated
moderate.
To reach Three Mile Creek Trail from Denver Colorado, travel 40 mils
southwest along US 285 and turn right (north) onto CR 62 )toward Guanella Pass
and continue 2.8 miles to the trail head on the right (east) side of the road.
