Michigan Creek Winter Trail

Pike & San Isabel National Forest, Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands, National Forest in Colorado

Following the Michigan Creek Road (mostly), the 7.0 mile Michigan Creek Trail is a primitive winter travel route which is rated easy to more difficult and is available for skiing & Snowmobiling.

Begin skiing along the road, at the fork stay left. Michigan Creek Trail leaves the road in about 0.25 miles. Follow the diamond trail markers as the trail travels through the forest for 1 mile before exiting back onto Michigan Road. Continue 5.5 mils to Georgia Pass.

To reach Michigan Creek Trail travel NW along CR 35 from Jefferson 2.4 miles to the intersection of CR 54. Stay to the right and continue along this road 2 miles to the parking area.
