White River National Forest
Available for Hiking, Horseback Riding,
and
ATVs (seasonal), the 7.3 mile Pagoda Lake Trail travels northwest
out of the parking area, staying mainly in open parks with a few
stretches of mixed dead spruce, spruce & fir forest. 3.5 miles form the
trailhead, Pagoda Lake Trail divides off, the lake lies 0.25 mile to the
south of the main trail. With it's elevation dropping, Pagoda Lake Trail
reaches it's junction with Snell Creek Trail, 1 mil beyond Pagoda Lake.
The trail continues west around the shoulder of Sand Peak to end at FR
230.
