Starts in parking lot on east side of New State Road, is Easy flat 0.75 mile loop path around meadow, through forest with views of the river, minimal slopes and frequent sightings of deer, rabbits and meadow birds. Perfect for novice skiers.

Hackett Trail is available for hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
