Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park
Located along the Kona coast below the majestic Hualalai
Volcano, Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park's purpose is to preserve,
interpret, and perpetuate traditional native Hawaiian activities, values,
and culture, and to demonstrate historic land use. Kaloko fishpond, with
it's massive seawall, provides an excellent example of the engineering
skills of the ancient people.
