The Laurel Branch Trail, which is a Monroe County Tennessee Hiking Trail, is an easy drive from Andrews or Murphy, North Carolina in Cherokee County.

Cherokee National Forest

Length: 3.0  miles
Rating: Moderate/Strenuous

This trail, in the spectacular Cherokee Forest, offers a moderate hike with some steep ascents and some exciting stream crossings.

Directions from Tellico Plains:

Take 165 toward Robbinsville, North Carolina. The trail begins opposite to the Falls Branch Scenic Area and goes southwest to end at the North River Road (FS #217). Roadside parking available.
