The Long Branch Trail, which is a Monroe County Tennessee Hiking Trail, is an easy drive from Andrews or Murphy, North Carolina in Cherokee County.

Long Branch Trail

Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

Cherokee National Forest

Length: 2.75  miles
Rating: Easy/Moderate

This trail offers a hike with a few stream crossings and a wonderful array of flora in the magnificent Cherokee National Forest.

Directions from Tellico Plains Tennessee:

Take 165 toward Robbinsville, North Carolina. The trail begins at Buck Knob and descends to the North River Road (FS #217-2) at the mouth of Long Branch. Parking at Buck Knob and North River.
