Length: 6.3 miles
Rating: Strenuous
From the trail's upper terminus at Camp Creek Bald, a panoramic view of
mountain peaks in Tennessee and North Carolina can be seen.
The easiest route is to begin at Camp Creek Bald and hike to State Road
208. From the upper end, the trail crosses the Appalachian Trail. From
here the trail mostly follows an old road bed. It first passes the upper
terminus of the Hickory Fork Trail.
Approximately one mile further, the trail leaves the old road and descends
through the forest where it follows Pounding Mill Branch to the lower
terminus at SR 208.
