Cherokee National Forest
Located within the Big Frog Wilderness, the 4.0 mile Big
Creek Trail is rated Moderate and follows along side the creek and then
travels into the wilderness.
Big Creek Trail begins on Peavine-Sheeds Creek Road (221)
and ends at Low Gap at the intersection of Big Frog Trail and Yellow Stand
Lead Trail.

Directions:
From the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger Station, turn left onto
Highway 64, and travel 10.9 miles to Ocoee Power House Number 3. Cross the
bridge, follow Forest Service Road 45 for 2.9 miles to Forest Service Road
221. Turn left on Forest Service Road 221, travel approx. 4.5 miles to
trailhead on the left.
