Sevier County Tennessee Hiking Trails

Located within the
Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the 4 mile Anthony Creek Trail
is rated moderate. Beginning at the Cades Cove picnic area,
Anthony Creek Trail is Cades Cove's easternmost trail. Following
Anthony Creek to it's headwaters, Anthony Creek Trail reaches
backcountry campsite #9 at mile 3. Another mile along Anthony
Creek Trail merges with Bote Mountain Trail. Anthony Creek Trail
provides access to Spence Field, the Appalachian Trail and Rocky
Top, which is one of the parks best vistas.
To reach Cades Cove Recreation Area, from Knoxville, follow
129 South to 321 North to the town of Townsend. Follow the signs
to Cades Cove Recreation Area.
