Polk County Tennessee Horse Trails

Conasauga River Horse Trail

Located within Cherokee National Forest, the 4.6 mile Conasauga River Trail begins at the Conasauga River dispersed area and ends at Sheeds Creek Road (FS221).

To reach the Conasauga River Trail from the Ocoee Ranger Station turn right onto Highway 64 and travel 4.8 miles to Cookson Creek Road (CR2330) and turn left. Continue 3.52 miles along Cookson Creek Road to Forest Service Road 55. Travel 9.6 miles along FS55 to FS221. Turn left onto FS221 and continue about 3.7 miles to FS33711, the trailhead is on the left.
