Boone Station State Historic Site
Established by Daniel Boon in 1779, Boone Station was home to 15 to 20 families. The 46 acre Boone Station State Historic Site is located within Fayette County Kentucky, and offers a hiking trail and picnicking. To reach Boone Station from I-75, exit 104 south of Lexington, and travel east to Athens along KY 418. Continue along N. Cleveland Road to Gentry Road.
