Knox County Kentucky, the 12 acre Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic
Site is home to the (replica) cabin built in 1750 by Kentucky's first
frontiersman, Dr. Thomas Walker. Open year round, Dr. Thomas Walker
State Historic Site offers a variety of recreational opportunities
including a 9-hole mini golf course, basketball court, horseshoes, 2
picnic shelters, museum, and a playground.
Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site is located 5 miles southwest
of Barbouville Kentucky, along KY 459.
