Whittleton Arch Trail #217, Wolfe County Kentucky Hiking Trails

Located within Red River Gorge section of the Daniel Boone National Forest, the 1 mile Whittleton Arch Trail #217 travels from Whittleton Campground to Whittleton Arch, the largest arch (mass wise) recorded in the geological area, Whittleton Arch Trail follows the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100, section 14 (also known as Whittleton Branch Trail)

Whittleton Arch Trail is a hiking only trail which is open year round.

To reach Whittleton Arch Trail, exit Mountain Parkway at Slade, Kentucky and follow Highway 11 south for 1.8 miles to Whittleton Campground on left.
