Located in
Washington County Maryland, the 215 acre Prather's Neck Wildlife
Management Area is situated on the end of a small peninsula of land
surrounded by the Potomac River. Mostly a forest habitat, with several old
fields, Prather's Neck WMA offers a variety of recreational opportunities
including hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing and hiking along the
several old roads and trails.
Located 6 miles south of Clear Spring Maryland, Prather's Neck WMA is
reached from I-70 West by taking the Clear Spring Exit and travel north
along MD 68 to the first traffic light and turn left onto old Route 40.
