Frozen Camp Wildlife Management Area

Partially located within western Roane County, the majority
of the 2,587 acre Frozen Camp Wildlife Management Area is in
Jackson County. Two lakes are located within Frozen Camp
Wildlife Management Area; the 20 acre Right Fork Lake which has
a boat ramp, and the 22 acre Left Fork Lake which is only
accessible via a hiking trail.
Owned by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources,
Frozen Camp Wildlife Management Area is located east of Ripley
and south of state Route 33 at Marshall, access is provided at
Marshall, also from state Route 28 at Frozen Camp and secondary
Route 8 in western Roane County.
