Topography ranges from river bottoms to steep slopes. Cover types include both mature oak-hickory and a patchwork of young pine-hardwood stands created by even-aged timber management. Camping is not permitted. Owned by Westvaco Corporation and leased to the WVDNR.

Directions:

The area is located on both sides of state Route 47, 15 miles east of Parkersburg.
