Snake Hill Wildlife Management Area

This area is across the Cheat River from the Coopers Rock overlook and its purchase protected the "Cheat View" as well as providing a quality Wildlife Management Area. The vegetation consists of oak-hickory forest located on mostly steep slopes into the Cheat River. Principal game species are white-tailed deer, wild turkey, squirrel, raccoon and ruffed grouse. Owned and managed by WVDNR.

Located three miles north of Dellslow and accessed by county Routes 75 and 75/2 (Snake Hill Road).
