Traversing the Finger Lakes National Forest from north to south, the
12.0 mile Interloken Trail is a branch of the Finger Lakes Trail system
and is rated Easy.
Horses are allowed on the Interloken Trail from the southern end to the
Burnt Hill Trail and on the north end between Seneca and Parmenter Road.
Interloken Trail is closed to horse use from March 15-May 1 due to
muddy conditions.
To reach the Interloken Trail from Watkins Glen New York turn right
onto NY 414 North, at the Forth Street intersection travel 9.0 miles north
past the Hector Ranger Station (on right). Turn right onto Schuyler County
Route 2 and continue 4.0 miles east to Blueberry Patch Campground and
parking area. |
