Located within
Rockland County New York, the 5,067 acre Bear Mountain State
Park is situated along the west side of the Hudson River and
offers a large variety of facilities and recreational
opportunities including, picnicking, fishing, small craft
mooring, lake & river access, swimming pool, hiking, biking,
cross-country skiing, ski-jumps, ice skating, a Merry-Go-Round,
museum/visitor center, and gift shop.
Perkins Memorial Tower, atop Bear Mountain offers visitors
great views of the park as well as Hudson Highlands and Harriman
State Park. Perkins Memorial Drive which travels to the top of
Bear Mountain is a popular destination within Bear Mountain
State Park.

York City and is accessible from the Palisades Interstate
Parkway or I-87.
