South Hill Recreation Way is a 3.30 mile recreational trail built on an
abandoned railroad bed running parallel to Coddington Road on South Hill.
Many entrance points exist, including one within the City at Hudson Street.
Many benches are positioned at scenic points along the trail, all of which
is off-road. The trail runs through beautiful wooded areas with many creek
crossings and small gorges in the City’s watershed. Small parking areas are
provided at Juniper Drive and Burns Road. A self-guided nature trail starts
at the Crescent Place entrance with pamphlets available nearby. |
