White Blaze
This trail meanders up a small forested ridge of mixed hardwoods to
Skyline Drive Road. If you walk quietly, you may catch a glimpse of
white-tailed deer hiding in the undergrowth. Part of the trail slopes into
fields that are in different stages of ecological succession. This area is
favorite habitat for swallowtail butterflies, bluebirds, and cottontail
rabbits. The trail eventually connects to the Butterfly Trail.
