Dauphin County Pennsylvania Hiking Trails

Janie Trail
Located within Boyd Big Tree Preserve Conservation Area, the 2.5 mile Janie Trail is available for hiking and cross-country skiing. The most challenging and the longest trail within Boyd Big Tree Preserve, Janie Trail follows the ridgetop before traveling down the mountain along a steep slope.

To reach Boyd Big Tree Preserve Conservation Area from PA 322, take the Fishing Creek exit and turn east onto Fishing Creek Valley Road (SR 443). Continue along SR 443 for 2.6 miles.
