Allegheny National Forest
This trail is 1.2 miles long and is marked with blue diamonds. It passes
through a mature forest of black cherry, red maple, beech and red pine.
The highlight of the trail is the half-acre blueberry patch. The area is
fenced to protect the plants from deer browsing. Enjoy the blueberries in
late July and August.
This trail is for hiking, skiing and mountain biking. Motorized
vehicles, ATVs, and snowmobiles, are not allowed on any of the trails.
Forest trails policy prohibits the use of saddle, pack or draft animals on
hiking or cross county ski trails. If you are hunting in the area, please
make sure you are outside the campground boundary.
