Dogtown Trail

Greenwood Furnace State Park

Length:  1.0 miles
Rating: Easy
Blue Blaze

This hiking and snowmobile trail begins at the far end of the campground and connects to Brush Ridge Trail. The trail passes near the former village of Dogtown, named for the dogs that barked at passing ore trains.

Directions:

The entrance to the park is on PA 305; a 10-minute drive west of Belleville or a 35-minute drive southeast of State College.
