Located within Trexler Nature Preserve, the 8.5 mile Trexler
Border Trail travels around the periphery of the Preserve. Rated
hard, Trexler Border Trail is available for hiking,
mountain bike riding, horseback riding,
snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
Because it travels around the periphery of Trexler Nature
Preserve, Trexler Border Trail is located in all the Ranges.
To reach Trexler Nature Preserve from Rt.22 take Rt.309
north, through Schnecksville for 7.7 miles to Mill Creek Road.
Turn left onto Mill Creek Road and continue 1.1 miles to the
entrance of the North Range.
Continue along Mill Creek Road past the North Range for 1.1
miles to Game Preserve Road. Turn left onto Game Preserve Road
and continue for 0.3 miles to entrance of the Central Range
(also the entrance to Lehigh Valley Zoo).
To access the South Range of Trexler Nature Preserve turn
right at the junction of Mill Creek Road and Game Preserve Road
and continue 0.4 miles to Ruheton Hill Road. Continue straight
0.8 miles to Jordan Road and turn left. Follow Jordan Road for
0.1 mile to the South Range parking area.
